About the social image resizer

Every platform crops differently, and an image that looks right on one will be beheaded on another. This tool takes a single source image and lets you produce correctly sized exports for each place you post, with the crop under your control rather than the platform's.

There are more than twenty presets covering Instagram posts, portraits and stories, X posts and headers, LinkedIn posts and company banners, Facebook posts and covers, YouTube thumbnails and channel art, plus generic Open Graph dimensions for link previews. Pick a preset and the crop frame locks to that aspect ratio.

Drag the image to reposition it inside the frame and zoom to control how tight the crop is. The area outside the frame is dimmed so you can see exactly what will be kept. For platforms that overlay a profile picture or a duration badge, the preview shows a safe-area guide so nothing important lands underneath it.

Export as PNG for graphics and screenshots with text, JPG for photographs where file size matters, or WebP when you control the destination and want both. The exported file is rendered at the preset's real pixel dimensions, not scaled up from your screen, so a YouTube thumbnail comes out at a true 1280 by 720.

Like the rest of the file tools, this runs entirely on your device. The image is drawn to a canvas in your browser and exported from there.
