About the qr code generator

Most free QR generators produce a tracking redirect rather than a real QR code. The image points at their domain, they log every scan, and the code stops working the day they shut down or move you to a paid plan. Codes printed on packaging, signage or business cards then quietly die.

This generator encodes your data directly into the code. Scanning it opens your URL, not ours, and there is nothing to expire because no server is involved after the image is made. The trade-off is that you get no scan analytics — if you need those, put a UTM-tagged link inside the code and read them in your own analytics.

Four content types are supported. URL and plain text are self-explanatory. Wi-Fi generates the standard network string so a guest can join by pointing a camera at a card, which is the single most useful QR code in an office or a rental. vCard encodes a full contact — name, organisation, phone, email, website — so someone can save your details in one scan.

You can set the foreground and background colours, adjust the quiet zone and choose an error-correction level. Higher correction adds redundancy so the code still scans when it is scuffed, partly covered or printed small. Keep strong contrast between foreground and background; light-on-dark works with most modern scanners but inverted codes still fail on some older ones.

Download as SVG for print, since it scales to any size without softening, or PNG at 256 to 2048 pixels for screens. Signed in, your codes are saved so you can regenerate them without retyping the contents.
